Line of Research: Processing: energy, water and emissions
Biography: Sebastián has a degree in Engineering Sciences (B.Sc) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is currently studying the Master’s program in Engineering Sciences at the same university. He has a solid academic background in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, and has worked for two years as a project engineer at the UC Energy Center. He has experience in decarbonization, climate change, electricity expansion and market designs. Currently, his research is focused on exploring the synergies between water and energy, as well as finding optimal solutions to integrate water infrastructure to alleviate scarcity in areas affected by the water crisis.
