Value Added Plan

The objective of the project is to increase knowledge and appreciation of the high Andean wetlands of the Regional Priority Site and generate a positive effect on the Salar de Pedernales and other nearby ecosystems. To achieve this, a management plan will be developed using the Open Standards methodology, the publication of studies on the high Andean wetlands and the priority site in a scientific journal and an environmental dissemination book, the implementation of information panels and viewpoints, environmental education activities aimed at children and adolescents, the establishment of the Royal Right of Environmental Conservation, and the transfer of water use rights. Finally, a Communications and Dissemination Plan will be carried out to inform the public about the results and stages of the project, through audiovisual and graphic material.
