Biography: Homero has a master’s degree in Big Data and Data Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an engineer in renewable natural resources and an agronomist from the Universidad de Chile. He has specialized in data management and analysis in geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment, in the analysis of biodiversity data, particularly in the vegetation component, and in the coordination of projects and leadership of work teams to achieve strategic objectives. and technicians.
He currently works at SMI-ICE-Chile as a geospatial analyst, researcher, and coordinator of the Environmental Rehabilitation and Ecosystem Dynamics line, where he is responsible for data management and analysis, environmental assessment of projects, and investigation of environmental processes at scale geospatial.
