Line of Research: Environmental rehabilitation and ecosystem dynamics

Biography: Daniela has a degree in Forest Sciences from the University of Chile, with more than 10 years of experience in project management on environmental and sustainable development issues, where she has participated both in the first stages of conceptualizing ideas, as well as in leadership roles in the execution of those same projects, for government organizations and the private sector.

She has focused her career mainly on the evaluation of impacts on ecosystems, involved in the feasibility study stage of projects, the characterization of biotic components and the evaluation of eventual effects related to mining and industrial activities on the territories, integrating the dimensions of the sustainable development: environmental, social and economic. In addition, she has experience in working groups and workshops with small agricultural and forestry owners, on issues of sustainable development, governance and microfinance.
