Line of Research: Social Performance and Resource Governance
Biography: Daniela is a Chemical Civil Engineer from the Universidad de Concepción. At the beginning of her career, Daniela worked in metallurgical processes and optimization of flotation additives in potassium mining, working for SQM. She continues her career in mining, working in project management for BHP. Later she completed a Master of Environmental Management at the University of Queensland, Australia, a country where she obtained work experience in Aluminum mining, at Rio Tinto. On her return to Chile, she joined Anglo American to specialize in development and social performance. Currently, she works as a Researcher at SMI ICE Chile in matters of community relations and development of projects with Indigenous Communities.
